Towards 2030
The Foundation turns five in 2030. Here is what we are planning, and who we are inviting back.
In March 2030 the Foundation will be five years old. We are not planning a gala. We are planning a weekend at Modena.
Over the weekend of the 2030 intake, every student who has been through the programme will be invited back to Bridge HQ: the first intake from 2025, the classes since, and whoever is with us that spring. The new cohort will spend their first weekend with the drivers who sat in the same seats before them.
What we are planning
- An open weekend at Modena. The workshop, the instruction room and the sim suite open to families, partners and anyone who has helped us along the way. The kart circuit will run all weekend.
- Former students coaching. We will ask every former student who is still racing to take a session with the new cohort.
- A written history. Berto Marchetti and Maren Lindqvist are writing the story of the first five years, from the dining-table paperwork in January 2025 to whoever joins us in 2030. We will publish it that spring.
Why now
Five years is long enough to see what the programme does after a student leaves it. Some of our former students are still racing. Some are studying engineering. Some have stopped. We want to hear from all of them, and we want our donors and partners to hear from them too, in their own words.
We will write to every former student and their family this year. If you have been part of the Foundation and have changed your address, write to info@thebridgefoundation.org so the letter finds you.
